Roo Systems Australia Manumbar Rally – QRC Round 1
MESSAGE FROM THE CLERK OF THE COURSE
Welcome everybody to the 2023 Roo Systems Australia Manumbar Rally, Round 1 of the years Queensland Rally Championship.
The event will be conducted over two heats in a format that we hope you will find friendly for our competitors and our volunteer officials. Heat 1 will commence with TC0 located at Manumbar Campdraft Grounds which is also RALLY HQ. Crews may camp at the Campdraft Grounds. From the start crews will travers two passes of a combination of good quality forestry roads including both open forest drives and technical sections and shire roads. Refuel will be available at Manumbar Campdraft Grounds and a Remote Refuel at the end of Stage 2/6 at Elginvale. Heat 2 will consist of the same 4 stages repeated.
The event will be using RallySafe and we encourage you to make the appropriate arrangements for the installation of equipment in your vehicle.
We welcome the support of our naming rights sponsor Roo Systems Australia. They are a wonderful supporter of our sport, with a range of mechanical services and upgrades that suit our membership and you as a competitor. Scrutineering will take place at Roo Systems Australia on 19th March commencing at 1000 hrs through to 1400 hrs.
We look forward to seeing you camping at Manumbar Campdraft Grounds or at Nanango where accommodation is available. The Manumbar Campdraft Association will be catering from Friday Evening through to Sunday Breakfast. Please support them as they are a small group, who help make our day a huge success.
We will be needing volunteers to help run the event. As you know, these events do not happen without those volunteering to help stage the event. Positions needing to be filled include Control Officials, Road Blocks and SOS Points. Can you please encourage anyone you know to volunteer via the officials link available on the BSCC event web page.
