Queensland Rally Championship Event 3

Queensland Rally Championship Event 3 the tricky Leczna County, known in real life as Mundubberra. Unfortunately, the new Mundubberra event wasn’t able to happen in this years QRC due to COVID-19 so we had to have some fun on the fast and technical roads in a digital event.
Ten stages with only one service in the middle would make this a challenging event for those entered in NR4 4wd machinery. The usual two of Kilbride and Opie were once again at the top taking stage wins in the first five stages with R-BOBBY32 also showing a turn of speed taking one stage win and sitting in 3rd when the cars returned to service.
The strong field of 22 competitors then headed back out to complete a second pass over the five stages to finish up before the sun went down. The battle for the lead was hot with Kilbride and Opie once again trading stage times unfortunately for Opie a bad time on stage 8 and dropping a minute proved to be his undoing with Kilbride taking the win by 1 minute and 2 seconds from Opie with 4 seconds ahead of R-BOBBY32 in 3rd. The top 10 was rounded out by ELGOOMO, MICKNJAIMZ83, CALLUMKIWI6, C_OSLEY, CHRISOGT4, IMPREZASRX and MROLLINSON.
Event 4 and the final event in the digital QRC has now started so log on and have a go before we go real rallying again with Byfield Rally scheduled for 11th July.
